Pricing structure

We give you a simple to understand pricing structure based only on the mileage travelled while your goods are onboard, easily calculated in pence per mile, often referred to as ppm or pplm, that's tailored specifically to your individual needs as every job/journey is different. Full goods in transit (GIT) insurance of up to £10,000 (ten thousand) is included as standard practice for every job.

For one single price you will get a dedicated vehicle and driver, whose sole responsibility will be getting your goods delivered as quickly as possible.

All charges are plus any current toll, ferry and/or parking costs. Any return journey will be priced very competitively and highly discounted, while the minimum charge is just £25.00 which includes the first 30 miles of any journey.

Payment Methods

Private customers: Cash or cheque (with valid card) on collection/delivery or in advance by bank transfer or PayPal - credit facilities are not available for private customers.
Business customers: Cash, cheque, bank deposit/transfer (BACS) or credit card via PayPal - within 14 (fourteen) days of invoice date. Invoices are raised bi-monthly - new or occasional customers may be required to pay by cash or cheque and/or on collection/delivery.

To make a payment at an agreed price by credit card or PayPal, simply click the button - business cutomers may also use this facility to make a payment. A PayPal account is not required.

Many items, one price...

Whether you have a single item or a full van you don't want to be paying on a per item, weight or quantity basis, just one single fee which can often work out to be more cost effective for you.

When you obtain a quote from CID Couriers, that is the price you will pay, everything is included except for any unknown toll, parking or properly incurred charges that we may have to pay while transporting your goods. There is no extra charge for Saturday, Sunday, bank holiday, out of hours deliveries, VAT or other costs added that you simply weren't expecting.

Waiting fees

I don't charge for time taken to load or unload or for the first thirty minutes of waiting. After a period of thirty minutes waiting time is charged at a rate of £5.00 per ¼ hour (15 minutes) up to a maximum of £50.00 - any waiting period longer than this is free of additional charge.

Any quote given will include waiting time if advised at the time of booking. The waiting charge may be waived or discounted at my discretion.
